Rain Tables

andere monjo captures falling raindrops to develop natural stained surfaces on the ‘Rain Tables’, a series of hand crafted pieces made of steel, distressed mirrors and water colours, letting nature to intervene during the making process.
Mint Shop, renowned for its innovative contemporary design objects for interiors, is currently producing the latest series of the ‘Rain Tables’ in collaboration with andere monjo since 2012.
During the London Design Festival 2011, ‘Mint Explores‘ showcased the first originals of these intriguing pieces, together with other inspiring works made by new emergent designers who were not revealing the materials used for designing until the pieces were touched or explored closely.
