Trend consultancy FranklinTill commissioned andere monjo to create a series of inspirational props as part of their regular 'The Surface' feature, profiling key material and colour directions for 2013.
Art directed by FranklinTill ´Shades of Mutation’ is inspired by engineered nature and explores the current fascination with plant life being manipulated through transgenic plants and botanical mutations. Both enhancing and mimicking nature, these pages explain that scientists, architects, artists and designers are conceiving future forms for nature using biology as a process for design.
